A New Store

October brings some big changes for me. I have closed down my store at FaithSisters and have decided to open up shop at Elemental Scraps.

I have two new releases for Monday, October 5. At Elemental Scraps each month we have a color theme and we each make a couple of mini kits to match the theme and then you can go and create your own kit by mixing and matching whatever mini's you like. Each mini is $1 for the month of October and $2 after that. Here are the two mini's I created for the Color Play:

A freebie and a new free kit on Artscow

Hello everyone. I know I have been missing in action lately. Sorry about that. Just took some time to spend with the kids before they headed back to school this week. If you read to the end of this post you will find a "yummy" digital scrapbook quickpage freebie and a link to download a digital scrapbook freebie kit on Artscow.com this week only.

I've released a couple new kits since last posting. They are all available at FaithSisters.

This is a 22 page quickpage album to highlight Baby's First Year but there are many pages that can be used for boys or girls in general.I created it for my sister to highlight my nephew's first year. We started with pastels but it didn't suit him so we revamped it with brighter bolder colors. You can mix and match pages to create the perfect album. In the end her album was 36 pages when I mixed and matched everything in the quickpage album kit. You can see it in the Artscow Gallery here You have to wait for it to load or it will show up blurry.

Another Artscow Freebie

I have a new (new to Artscow) digital scrapbook freebie kit up at Artscow until Saturday. You can grab it here. The kit comes with two quickpages.

I just received my first 8x8 album from Artscow and I am impressed. It is put together well, the colors are great and I am thrilled with my album. I was hesitant about the hardcover as I had a hard wrapped 8x8 from viovio.com and it wasn't the greatest quality but Artscow is much better. I will be ordering from them again for sure! :) I also love that some designers (me included) create quickpages to go with the kits so all you have to do is add your photos and it is all ready for the printer. No having to save, convert, upload and then try to order. It's all in one place! I love it. If you haven't already checked it out I suggest you do. Even my sister is using it and she is not a digital scrapbooker. Just make sure that the kits you pick up have pre-shadowed elements (mine do) as you cannot add shadows in the Arstcow software.
