How is Week 2 going? Did the dog eat your homework?

So, did you finish week two? If not what is your excuse, tell us about it in the comments to win a $2 coupon to pick up a Page Builder set (or other item for $2) from my store at My Memories Suite.

If you did finish, tell us what keeps you motivated! I have some catch up to do this weekend. My excuse, my dad had emergency heart surgery, followed by my son having day surgery! It's been a busy two weeks. :) That being said, I am only two weeks behind so it should be fairly easy to catch up. Hope you all catch up too.

Please note comments must be left on the blog to be entered to win, we cannot do giveaways on Facebook.  Thanks.

Seeing all the other go-getters finshed before I've read the challenge on Saturday keeps me going. I have finished week 2, but not until Tuesday night. Everyday I'd see a new post in the P52 Support Group and think - I've got to get mine done, so I can post, too! PLUS the page builders are really helping me to get my page flow down!

I got mine done and I LOVE them! What keeps me motivated? I know this will sound silly but...the fact that I can use the software! Between the software and your fantastic Page Builders I am loving (did I say loving?) scrapbooking again! I will never go back to paper and stickers!

I hope your dad and son are doing okay!

My motivation , well there's alot of factors here. #1) I haven't scrapped in while, due to a major flood and house renovations. I missed it so much!! Reason #2 my new love for digiscrapping. A few weeks ago, I took the plunge, and I really enjoy being able to scrap withough a huge mess on my diningroom table!! #3 my pictures, the pictures I am taking of my boys, my dog, etc, are just too priceless not to scrap. #4 I have never heard of or hdone anything like this before, and I absolutely the idea of having a recap of mynyear in picture form! and finally, #5 the inspiration I get from everyone's amazing projects on the p52 support group page is awesome!!

Still trying to finsih Week 2 Page 2, but we had our kitchen painted, cleaned out our master bedroom closet, scrubbed the cabinets, picked out new flooring, cleaned out the cabinets, tons of laundry, work full time........just need to find some me time!!

Motivation to scrap is almost like breathing...just gotta do it! Inspiration, now that's a whole nother thing. Your Page Builders are my staple for my P52; one new template each month. The kits I use each month will depend on what strikes my fancy. The only caveat I've placed is that I must use the same kit for that particular month. We'll see how this goes for a couple of months. If I'm happy with it, GREAT! If not, I can always start over...one df the joys of digi!

Honestly I have no idea why I can not keep up!! One would think being a SAHM I would be on top of my scrapbooking??!! I really want to get back on track with my scrapbooking and going to the gym!!!!

I did finish! I keep up by scheduling it into my weekly planner!

I keep motivated knowing I will have a week by week book to print at the end of the year chronicling my families year.

So far, motivation isn't really a problem. I bet the first Saturday that I don't get to scrap is when it'll start being a problem. I started a P52 album 6 years ago, but I didn't realize that's what it was at the time. A lot of things happened and I wasn't able to finish it. I am determined to finish this one!

I've been able to stay ahead so far. I've got this week's (3) done already. My motivation is I need a break to take my mind off the constant needs of the kids. So I scrap them. Does that kind of sound like a paradox??:)

I have mine done. I am really enjoying the software and seeing what I can come up with and that keeps me wanting to do the next page.

I'm done with week 2 & working on week 3. My son had to borrow my laptop again so it makes it more difficult.

I didn't get to even start week 2. I don't really have an excuse!! Just really busy with alot of small things! My goal for the weekend is to start and complete week 2 and 3.

Yeah...uh...week 2...uh, yeah, the dog ate my scrapbook ;). Loved that by the way. It has been a crazy couple of weeks. Just need to sit down and do it. My best excuse is that the gym borrowed my camera...but yeah, I still got pics so....This weekend I will have to do both week 2 and 3 :D.

Mine is finished and posted onto facebook (under Rachel L.)
Motivation - since this is a new program to me, my motivation is that every time I do a new layout I seem to learn something new about the program! I'm having such fun, and it keeps me coming back to do some more! I really need to expand my selection of papers, tho...

I hope your dad and son are better now. What a way to start the New Year Barb :( I'm doing great so far on my P52 pages. I've been doing 2 pages per week and have finished up to the first page of Week 3. This Saturday is our annual Niagara-on-the-Lake Icewine Festival so am hoping to get some pics of ice sculpting and other "cool" things :) Am loving the page builders - they are perfect for this year-long project, and make 2-page spreads so incredibly easy. My problem so far is limiting myself to 2 pages/week, haha. My best to your family. Hope your dad (and son) are recovering nicely.

I haven't finished week 2. I got the pictures on the page, and add in some journaling - but I have no clue what I want to do color/kit wise. I'm thinking I want to make every two pages match, but that would mean re-doing week 1 since I'm not thrilled with it's colors & LO. So I'm thinking about what I want to do. :)
